Check suspicious messages, links, QR codes and screenshots wherever they arrive.
Use the mobile apps when suspicious content reaches your phone. Use the Chrome extension when it reaches you while browsing. Every check is user initiated and provides a best-effort result to review before you act.
Put the checker where suspicious content reaches you.
The website is useful for a one-off public URL. Mobile adds user-initiated message, QR and screenshot checks. Chrome keeps page, link and pasted-content checks close to your browser.

Choose how you use ScanLens
Website and Chrome access are separate from mobile purchases. Choose based on where the suspicious content arrives and what you need to check.
| Option | Best for | What it checks | Access and allowance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Web Free | A quick one-off check | A public URL | 1 free web scan per day; no account required |
| Personal Pro | More website and Chrome checks | Website and Chrome extension scans | 30 scans per day with an active licence key |
| iOS | Phone messages, QR codes and screenshots | Links, messages, QR codes and image-based links | Separate mobile purchase and allowance; see the App Store |
| Android | Phone messages, QR codes, screenshots and destinations | URLs, messages, QR codes, images, redirects and final destinations | Separate mobile entitlement and allowance; see Google Play |
| Chrome | Checks while browsing | Current pages, links, selected text and pasted content | 5 free extension scans per day; Personal Pro raises the website and extension allowance |
| Business | Small-team security reviews | Agreed website, email-domain and suspicious business content scope | One-off written review scope, ordered or confirmed separately |
Make checking a deliberate habit.
Keeping ScanLens on the phone or browser where suspicious content arrives can make repeated, user-initiated checks quicker. ScanLens does not replace device security, and sensitive requests should still be verified through the organisation's official channel.
Questions before you choose
Which version should I use?
Use Web Free for a one-off public URL, iOS or Android for phone messages, QR codes and screenshots, Chrome for browser content, Personal Pro for the paid website and Chrome allowance, or Business for an agreed small-team review.
Is the mobile app the same as the web scanner?
No. The website accepts a public URL. The mobile apps also support platform-specific message, QR and image inputs. Mobile purchases and allowances are managed separately.
Does Personal Pro unlock the mobile apps?
No. Personal Pro applies to the website and Chrome extension. It does not automatically unlock iOS or Android, and a mobile purchase does not unlock the website or Chrome.
Can the apps guarantee a link is safe?
No. Every result is a best-effort assessment based on the checks available at that time. A SAFE result is not a guarantee. Verify sensitive requests through an official channel before signing in, paying or sharing information.
Can ScanLens scan screenshots and QR codes?
The iOS and Android apps can check QR codes and extract links from screenshots or images. The website and Chrome extension do not provide the same image and camera input.
Does ScanLens run continuously in the background?
No continuous background protection is promised. Checks are user initiated. Android may offer optional Scam Guard Lite where supported; this is not an iOS feature and should not be treated as continuous protection.
